CHUCHOTAGE OR WHISPERED TRANSLATION
This technique is used when there are few people (at most two per interpreter who need translation of the speaker’s comments.
The chuchotage consists of simultaneous interpretation without any electronic devices or booths; the interpreter is seated or standing next to or just behind the client and whispers the translation in the target language.
This service is generally provided by one simultaneous translator per language.
